The damage was done in a blistering first twenty-five minutes that saw us take the game by the scruff of the neck and score the first five of our seven tries. South Molton who found themselves 33-3 down at this point and then 40-17 down at the break did well to fight back into the contest. The second half was far quieter and our tempo was lost as we finished the game with only fourteen on the pitch following a string of injuries. With this considered the lads did well to batten down the hatches and make sure of the five points. Their reward for a superb win a fifth place finish with other results falling our way on the final day of the league season. One more match for the 2s now with a massive cup final to come.
