Last Sunday our Tempests celebrated the incredible achievements of two of our players. Kerry Ackerman and Katie Lunnon were both awarded their caps for 50 appearances for the club by captain Polly Nicholl. Both have been with us from the very start playing for the club in our Exonian, Topsham Ladies and Tempests days. Although Kerry has since retired (we've coaxed her back a few times already so never say never...) she holds our record for most competitive appearances at 64 and still has daylight between her and the chasing pack. Katie is still very much turning out playing a huge part both on and off the field for the club.

The two of them make history as our first two players to have played 50 competitive league and/or cup matches in club colours. True trailblazers who'll hopefully be joined in the coming months and years by many more.
