As predicted the league table was misleading and North Petherton showcased their intent and abilities from the off. The game was a real back and forth battle, a single point at 27-28 the difference at the break. Our 1st XV kept up their relentless hunt for points though throughout and even though our defence was more lapse than we'd have hoped our attack was scintillating. A fifth league win on the bounce secured and eight victories in a row spanning to the back end of last year now for the 1st XV. Up next a massive game with second placed Tiverton.
