We came back from an early deficit to secure a valuable five points on the road. It wasn't a vintage Topsham performance but the boys rode it out to ensure our 100% start remained intact. The home side started quickly and if the reality of a real banana skin tie wasn't apparent before kickoff it was now. Following a few stern words under the posts we kicked into life and fired some shots of our own to go into the sheds at half time 14-21 up. A lone try our way in the second period was the only score for the next forty as we saw out the match and ensured a fourth score for the bonus point. We'll benefit now from another 1st XV rest week before we welcome Newton Abbot on the 30th back at HQ.
