An injury hit Colts side that featured props on the wing at one point were beaten by Barnstaple yesterday in their first league match. They held their own and defended a slender three point lead for fifty or so minutes from when the visitors did finally cross our line. A late flurry in the final ten saw them take their bonus point and add some gloss to the scoreline. Not the result we wanted to start off with but all things considered and coupled with the immense effort from the lads the mood remains positive and proud from the coaches.
