TRFC are delighted to welcome 24 teams from all over Devon to Topsham RFC for the Tozers Devon RFU under 13s Sevens Festival.
SUNDAY 26th APRIL 2015 9 am first K/O, 17:15 Final
It’s an honour to be hosting this competition, the first Devon RFU junior event to be held at the club since the junior section started
in 2001.
The aim of the festival is to encourage boys to play rugby football
in enjoyable circumstances. Whilst a festival is by its very nature competitive, this must not be the over-riding consideration for coaches. Winning and losing are to be kept in context.
TRFC would like to thank all our sponsors who have contributed to the funding of the event. We really appreciate the positive impact they have by supporting junior rugby; long may our association continue.
As you will know a lot of hard work has gone into the preparation
and running of the event and I would like to thank Graham Smith
and his team of volunteers and parents for all the effort they have
put in.
TRFU wishes all the players the best of luck, and thanks to all the parents for supporting both the kids and rugby over the last season. It’s nearly over and you can reclaim your Sundays for a few months
at least.
The primary aim of Graham and the club is to run a successful
event and the proof of this will be evidenced in the enjoyment of the
players. Please support and compliment all the teams you watch
and I am sure that you will respect the referees who have given up
their Sunday to ensure the festival can take place.
Enjoy your day out and the rugby.
